Back from in forever. Today wanted to share my first new waffle recipe using my new waffle iron. I partnered with Eat Natural for creating these. I’m a big fan of their granola and used them before in the past so I was really happy they decided to work with me again. I hope you enjoy it!
Cacao Almond Granola Waffles with granola-coated ice-cream
200gr Eat Natural Extreme Cacao (+ extra for garnish)
100ml of almond milk (or any milk you prefer)
1 tbsp. olive oil
4 scoops of vanilla ice-cream
100gr Eat Natural Extreme Cacao
Start with making the granola-coated ice-cream. Make the granola as fine as possible in a food processor or a really powerful blender. Spread out the fine granola on a small plate. Scoop out a scoop of ice-cream (use any flavor you like). And gently roll it with clean hands over the granola to coat them completely. Put them on a small plate and back in the freezer so it can set.
For the waffles in a bowl mix the flour with the granola. Add in the eggs, milk, and oil and mix until you get a slightly sticky dough.
Heat up your waffle iron and start baking them. Bake until slightly more brown but still a little soft. If you bake them too long they will dry out after you take them out. Just like oatmeal cookies, they will set after cooking.
