Last week I was invited to try the new menu in a restaurant situated in one of the most famous landmarks of Rotterdam which is the Euromast. With 185m high you have an amazing view over the city of Rotterdam and also the world famous harbour. Next to sleeping there you can also enjoy delicious food which was served to me with other bloggers thanks to Miesmedia and LefMedia.
With all of the bloggers, we were placed at a big table with an amazing view from the outside as you can see from the photos. We were given a selection of small dishes from the new menu. We started with 3 starters (with 3 fitting wines). We started with Vitello Tonnato, Ceviche of sea bass, and caviar of puffed eggplant & bell peppers. All three delightful and delicious dishes. Soon after we had the main course which was also served as three separate small dishes consisted of brie & artichoke quiche, baked scallops with gnocchi, and risotto. Before we had the dessert we were allowed a trip on top of the Euromast which was an amazing experience and really shows how beautiful Rotterdam is as the only real city in the Netherlands. When we returned they served a delicious dessert consisting of Dutch stroopwafel and white chocolate parfait, poached peach, and Baba’s with matcha ice cream.
Curious about the rest of the menu you can check it here.
Here are some more photos for you guys to see. If you are in Rotterdam let me know and be sure to visit this landmark.
