Hold-Your-Waffle-Wednesday-126 // Balsamic Banana Bread Waffles

1 november 2017

Weird for myself to make a waffle recipe using bananas since I’m not really fond of them. Although I have to say I do sometimes try banana bread but I don’t really enjoy it as much. For this time I did decide to make a banana bread like waffle again but with a little twist. I added sweet balsamic vinegar on top for a nice fresh and sour taste. This is a delicious combination I will be sure to try more often in recipes.

Balsamic Banana Bread Waffles
2 portions

Ingredients
4 ripe bananas
2 eggs
160g oatmeal flour
some salt

Instructions
Mash the bananas in a bowl and add in the egg. Mix in the oatmeal flour until combined. Add a little bit of olive oil to it and bake in a preheated waffle iron until slightly golden brown. I seem to get the best texture when you don’t bake it too long. Serve with balsamic vinegar, honey and some fresh banana on top. Enjoy!
