We ran out of Nutella last week and instead of trying to get every ounce out of the jar with a spoon Maud remembered she saw someone use it for overnight oats. We don’t like waste and especially not when it’s chocolate so we decided to try this recipe. You can experiment with other empty jars including jam or peanut butter and fill it up. Hopefully you get some inspiration from this recipe. Enjoy your Monday.
Overnight Oats in a Nutella jar
4 portions (of 2 large ones)
350ml almond milk (or your favorite kind of milk)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon (or pumpkin spice)
an almost empty Nutella jar (or one of your choice)
Grab the jar and fill it up with the oats, milk, salt and cinnamon. Mix thoroughly and let it rest in the fridge over night. Before serving have it some time out of the fridge to let it get to room temperature or heat up in a bowl. We prefer a dense overnight oats but of course you can add more milk to your Happy Monday!
