Oatmeal flour is one of my favorite kinds of flour to make waffles with. It has such a delicious taste and really fills you up so you won’t be craving for any snacks for a while. Although I have to admit I’m always hungry so I might be the exception of this rule. Mix together with some oatmeal granola for an extra crunch. I do have to admit I was a bit lazy and bought my granola straight from the store cause I was out of any. But do try your own or even buy your own and mix together with any fruit to your liking for the perfect breakfast waffle. Happy Waffle Wednesday!
Oatmeal granola waffles with red fruit
100g oatmeal flour
1 tsp. baking soda
sniff of salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. oil
80g Quacker Oatmeal Granola strawberry & raspberry
Some low-fat quark for on top
In a bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Make a hole in the middle and add in the egg, oil and milk and mix together until you’ve got a firm batter. Preheat your waffle iron and than add the raspberries and granola to the batter before you waffle them. Bake about two tablespoons of batter for one waffle and continue baing until done. Garnish with extra frozen raspberries, quark and granola and enjoy!
