After we’ve hit the gym we’re craving something good. And mostly we settle for a good stack of pancakes to start the day. Today we’ve got one with Nutella, coconut cream and some whey protein with hazelnut-Nutella flavor. For the coconut cream, it’s best to get a good quality one without any added water. Most of them aren’t that dense but be sure to get a good one for this, because it makes all the difference.
Nutella coconut pancakes
80g low-fat quark
40g coconut cream
30g whey protein (Nutella-hazelnut flavor)
2 egg whites
1 tsp. baking soda
In a bowl mix the quark, Nutella, coconut cream and egg whites. When mixed add the flour, whey and baking soda in the bowl and mix thoroughly. Heat up a pan with some oil on medium heat and bake a tablespoon of batter for one pancake. Make about 3 pancakes in one pan and continue until you’re out of batter. Serve the pancakes with extra quark and hazelnuts and enjoy!
