‘A match made in heaven’ is one of the first things one that might come to mind when you make this combi. What could possible go wrong with cheesecake and Milka Oreo? And the best part is because you make it in a waffle iron it doesn’t take long to enjoy it.
Cheesecake waffles with Milka Oreo
185g cream cheese (Philadelphia)
1 tbsp. fine sugar
3 tbsp. self-raising flour
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 big Milka Oreo bar
Start of with mixing the eggs, sugar and cream cheese. Add lemon juice, vanilla extract and while mixing add in the self-raising flower. Put it in the fridge to rest. Grab your waffle iron and while it’s heating up cut the chocolate bar with a knife like the pattern. Chop some pieces of the bar in even smaller pieces for the batter and save some aside to serve with the cheesecake waffles. Put the batter in for example a measuring cup so you can easily pour it in the waffle iron. Fill the bottom part almost completely up sprinkle some chopped chocolate on top and bake them in the waffle iron. You might want to stay next to the waffle iron in case it gets too well done before the waffle iron indicates it’s ready. When it’s done serve with some extra pieces of chocolate. Tip like real cheesecake it tastes better the longer you save it in the fridge. If you let it cool down for 2 hours you can also serve it as a cold dish to surprise your guests. Enjoy!
